When the yarn absorbs sweat, the silver ions with anti-bacterial properties are released, removing fungi, bacteria, and germs. This treatment is durable, poses no negative environmental impact, and is Oeko-Tex 100/US compliant. Developed and manufactured in Germany, Balega extensively tested the Silver antibacterial running socks to be gentle on the skin.
