Brunton Ball and Socket Transit Mount

The Brunton Ball and Socket Transit Mount connects any Brunton pocket transit to a tripod or monopod for extremely accurate readings and additional functionality (not included). Constructed out of aluminum and brass, the Transit Mount is non-magnetic and will not interfere with compass measurements. All Brunton transits are built with custom grooves that make them compatible with this mount that rotates 360 degrees, horizontally and vertically. Features: Non-magnetic aluminum and brass construction. Rotates 360 degrees vertically and horizontally; Lockable in place. Standard 1/4 - 20 thread. Fits Brunton transits exclusively. Connects directly to Brunton Non-Magnetic Tripod, Jacob's Staff, and Monopod (not included). With use of the additional Brunton Jacob's Staff Thimble, the Ball and Socket Mount can be attached to any standard tapered staff or rake handle.
