The Butterfly Freitas ALC table tennis blade is a great option for players that value attacking from both sides. Designed with long-time Portuguese National Team member Marcos Freitas. With a harder feel than most other ALC options, this blade has plenty of power back from the table while still maintaining the quintessential Arylate-Carbon touch. Earlier in his career, Marcos used Tenergy 05 on both sides, helping generate easy speed and spin from close and mid distance. With the advance of rubber options, Marcos now uses Dignics rubbers on both side (Dignics 09C on his forehand, Dignics 05 on the backhand), providing a great balance of devastating spin and power. Developing players seeking to replicate Freitas' style of play could try either Rozena, Glayzer, or Glayzer 09C rubbers. To add more grip to this blade, you can add Soft Grip Tape, providing grip and comfort to the racket handle. Another great choice to extend the longevity of your racket is adding side tape to the blade, protecting the wood in the event it is hit on the table.
