These sterile abdominal pads are well-suited for use as primary dressings over large wounds, a series of wounds or abdominal incisions, and as secondary dressings on wounds with heavy exudate. Other applications include providing additional cushioning or protection against moisture. The fluff filler disperses fluids to extend the length of time between dressing changes. These wet-proof abdominal pads act as a moisture barrier, defending against infection as well as exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Its moisture-proof backing further avoids strike-through to protect both the patient and specialist. Sealed in peel-back packages, the abdominal pads are easy to apply with precision. All four sides contain sealed edges to avoid leaking and lint-shedding.
