Lifetime sheds are made from multiple panels to allow for exceptional quality control in manufacturing and easy shipping and assembly. Roof panel segments that are adjacent to each other may appear to create a small “gap.” This seam in the roof panels is the point where separate panels are attached to the steel reinforcement trusses; these dual-purpose trusses provide the shed with both heavy-duty structural reinforcement and water drainage. The trusses are shaped to operate as a drainage channel and any water that enters into the roof seam is caught by the trusses and runs out to the side of the shed. Sidewall seams are also supported by overlapping panels and do not allow water in. All Lifetime sheds are designed, built, and tested to withstand rain and snow while keeping the interior dry. No additional caulking or sealing is required.
