Bandage wounds using the McKesson octagon transparent framed film dressing as a primary or secondary application. As a sterile pad, it can protect catheter, IV and wound sites. The transparent film dressing helps visually monitor the area with its see-through characteristics. It helps maintain moisture on the wound surface to encourage autolytic debridement of sores with dead tissue. The semi-permeable dressing assists water from passing through to the wound and it's designed for single use.
