Note: Diameter means edge to opposite edge of a circle (in this case a wheel) along an imaginary line drawn across the circles widest part. That diameter does NOT determine the thickness of the dough you can cut into. That thickness is restricted by the hardware joining the cutting wheels to the metal strips of this divider. As such, the thickness of dough the wheels cut into (when the wheels are 2-3/16 inch) is no more than 7/8 inch.
