Birds of Paradise, Strelitzia reginae, will thrive in well-draining soil. This soil mixture includes a balance of peat moss, perlite, and lime. Peat moss is great for water retention and nutrient retention to soil. It is also a great source of organic matter that will degrade slowly over time to feed your soil. Perlite has excellent drainage capabilities. Lime is used primarily for its ability to balance soil pH levels.Other USES This potting soil would also be suitable for Red Ch.
