When worn, the dressing remains in place and creates a seal from all sides to provide comfortable support. This highly absorbent, skin-friendly adhesive strip dressing comes with a sturdy adhesive border, which minimizes the need to add tape or securement and improves the adherence of the dressing. Best used for injuries with low to moderate levels of exudate, this island dressing comes with a non-adherent microgrid wound-contact layer that keeps the wound safe from any further bruises. Before applying the non-woven dressing, clean and dry the injury and surrounding skin. This adhesive dressing is completely sterile, which makes it safe in its packaging until needed.
